The ride is great, btw, and well worth the $$$. However, when I queue up, this boat is full, because there is a ticket stop right there at the quai, and it shows how many seats are still available on the ride, and people who are just happening by, or know better, are purchasing their tickets there because it's a nice day! Why the Tourist Office clerk told me boats were full when they clearly weren't is a mystery, but it's so easy to go directly the the Batorama Promenade quai and purchase your ticket. It was held at Collins Booksellers in Caloundra and turned out to be such a magical night I posted photos on my Facebook page, but here’s just a few of the highlights.
